Datadog Integration
The Gremlin Datadog integration sends Datadog Events whenever you run an experiment, Scenario, or reliability test. This lets you overlay test events on top of your dashboards to pinpoint exactly how and when Gremlin experiments occur, and how they impact your metrics. You can also view, rerun, and halt Gremlin experiments from your Datadog Event Stream.

At this time,
Gremlin supports sending Datadog Events only to the US1 region
(
https://api.datadoghq.com).
If your Datadog organization is hosted in another region (US3, US5, EU1, GOV, etc.),
events will not be delivered successfully until additional region support is added.
Data transmitted
The Datadog integration only sends events to Datadog when experiments are started or stopped in Gremlin.
How to set up the integration
To enable the Datadog integration:
- Create a Datadog API key by following the instructions in Add an API key.
- Log into Gremlin and navigate to your Company Settings.
- Under Integrations, click Add next to the Datadog icon.
- Enter your APIkey in the Datadog API key field.
- Click Save.
